AI: Pushing the Boundaries of What's Possible
For those of you who are looking for more social interaction, AI has got you covered...
Hi friends, it's been an AI-mazing week.
- Microsoft held a press event recently, unveiling its new Bing search engine powered by Chat GPT. The demo was impressive, to say the least. It showcased enhanced search capabilities like a new chat feature for more personalized results. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. Before the presentation came to an end, I had signed up for the waitlist. The recent sequence of events leading up to this seems so calculated. I wonder how long Microsoft has been working on this.
- For those of you who are looking for more social interaction, AI has got you covered. Luca, a software company, created an AI chatbot named "Replika" that learns from its user and tries to become their friend, leading to an intimate relationship between the user and the machine. The concept originated from the founder, Jenya, who used text messages from her late friend Roman whom she was close to, and used those texts to create a chatbot that spoke and wrote like him. Pretty poetic if you ask me.
- I'm always looking to up my productivity game and if you're like me, this short video is a must-watch.
